Note: The purpose of this event is to raise the fund for constructing building of proposed Durga Temple & Nepalese Cultural Center(DTNCC) in Ridgewood, New York.

Proudly Announcing the Sponsors for Prasad

-- Dear Devotee,

Ridgewood Nepalese Society proudly announces the final list of sponsors for Prasad in Mahapuran. We appreciate your kind cooperation on occasion of this auspicious religious event.The details of the sponsors for Prasaad are follows:

1. Number of Devotees/participants in Mahapuran is expected at least 300 per day.
2. Expected Items for Prasaad are - Puri, Tarkari, Achar, Haluwa, Khirr, Fruits, Juice, Soda, Spoons, Plates, Napkins etc.( Safe Drinking water is available in the Hall)
3. We will make the connection between sponsors & Prasaad preparer (Sagarmatha Restaurant) as soon as both party ready. The cost of Prasaad is $ 2,000 per day on Monday - Thursday and $3,000 Friday - Sunday.
4. Please, contact immediately to any persons in the following list if you have any further questions or any changes.

Information about Mahapuran Prasaad and Hall

As previously posted:

1. The total charge of Hall for 7 days is $7,000 (Seven Thousand) - (His note: That is only the charge for 2 day's value of Weekend)

2. The cost for Prasaad (khir, puri, achar, tarkari, haluwa &........) is $5 per person counting by plate or Attendance Registration

3. He will make available also drinking water, napkins, towels, plates, spoons etc. and a person for cleaning and restroom maintenance

4. We have to serve our-self

Good News:

Mr. Mohan Baduwal himself is going to donate Prasad of very first day(1 day) of Mahapuran.That is Monday, August 9, 2010. Thank you.

Shreemad Bhagawat Mahapuran in New York

Ridgewood Nepalse Society is going to organize a hefty religious event "SHRIMAD BHAGAWAT MAHAPURAN", ancient Hindu philosophical relish by proficient narrator and renowned pundit Deen Bandhu Pokhrel in between August 9 Mon and 15 Sun, 2010. The venue for this event is SAGARMATHA HALL, 62-02 Roosevelt Ave, NY 11377. The purpose of this event is to raise fund for constructing building of proposed DURGA TEMPLE & NEPALESE CULTURAL CENTER in Ridgewood, Queens, New York.
